Borin and Nicole’s wedding was a two day event. The first day celebrated Borin’s Cambodian heritage with traditional Cambodian ceremonies, which in Cambodia would take place on different days. One ceremony included a blessing from three monks which was really fun for me to witness and photograph. One of the coolest parts of being a photographer is all the different cultures I get to be a part of.
The second day was the traditional American ceremony at Annie Wright School in north Tacoma. I grew up in Tacoma but have never been inside. It is such a beautiful historic building. After the ceremony we all headed over to Pioneer Park Pavilion in Puyallup for the reception. If you need a big space for your wedding, the pavilion is a great place. My favorite part of the evening is when a “dance off” started. I love photographing action! Thanks to Borin and Nicole for a fun event!
