  • Welcome to Rachel Bayne Photography…

I have loved photography since I was at least in the 3rd grade and got my first camera for my birthday that year. I took that little 210 film camera everywhere I went and have been capturing the world around me ever since. I love being a photographer. From weddings to families to senior portraits... it's all so much fun! If you have a question, click on the Contact button above. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I do. -Rachel Bayne

Anna and Greg: January 3, 2009

Anna and Greg are adorable and very sweet. Their beautiful wedding was held at the First Presbyterian Church of Bellingham on a snowy Bellingham Day. During the ceremony, Greg had a hard time keeping it together during a few moments while Anna got teary eyed during her maid of honors toast. I hope they had an amazing time on their honeymoon in Costa Rica!

John and Ashlee: October 12, 2008

John and Ashlee really lucked out with amazing weather for their mid October wedding! The ceremony and reception were at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal in Fairhaven but we went just down the street to Marine Park for some fun photos before the ceremony. My favorite part of the evening is when John and Ashlee surprised their guests with a choreographed first dance. So fun!

Ashlee talks to her grandpa just before the wedding and says “Ok grandpa, I have to go get married now!”I thought it was so cute that the flowers were in a pumpkin instead of a vase.John is in to robots so the cake toppers were these robots dressed as bride and groom! Here the couple does their choreographed dance!

2008 Battle in Seattle

October 11 was the 2008 Battle in Seattle and Cascade Cup between Central Washington University and Western Washington University at Qwest Field in Seattle. As you  may or may not know, my nephew, Johnny Spevak, is a receiver on the CWU team and is currently #1 in the country for Division 2 football in total yards (962), receptions per game (8.57) and yards per game (137.4). Needless to say I’m very proud! CWU ended up winning their fourth consecutive Battle in Seattle and Cascade Cup 50-28 against WWU. Click here to see more photos.

Bobbi and Ryan: September 20, 2008

Yet another Canadian/American wedding! Bobbi, the Canadian, and her beau Ryan, from Ferndale, were married at the Peace Arch Park in Blaine on a very rainy Saturday. The reception followed at a super cool party barn in Ferndale which had plenty of room to dance and pool and air hockey tables downstairs. The party really got going when Springsteen’s “Born in the USA” was played as Ryan and his groomsmen flew the American flag and Bobbi and her bridesmaids stood on chairs and waved the Canadian flag.
